Sussex should be good enough to win this encounter from an out of form Warwickshire, a warning though, there is light rain falling, and yet another rain reduced match, may be on the cards, although little rain has fallen throughout the day.

completed match went from 1.43 to 1.26 in the last 30 mins so i'd think signs are positive. i can't be bothered watching SS1 drivel to keep updated.

No Warwickshire ain't been playing great recently but 3.1 seems a tad big
Can someone help me with the rules here. Is this still 40 overs with D/L in place when the match is truncated. Thanks in advance.

agree, warwickshire would need 160+ to be competetive, not getting it
160 is defo possible. 4 overs left, wickets in hand - need 10 an over for it. 170 wins it imo by can't see them getting that.
i'd say thats a really competitive score, remember this is not ipl
It is, but they have to get Luke Wright and Rory Hamilton Brown out quickly, as either could take the game away from Warwickshire quickly. However at the prices, I think Warwickshire are the value bet at the interval.
what do you reckon? keep them under 55 in the first ten? flip flop?

warwickshire need to forget about bowling rankin. His pies are getting smashed all over the place. No point having pace if you have no idea how to use it. Game looks like it will be decided by how the warwickshire spinners bowl.
Wet ball..i am not sure spinners would be of any effect...lets see..
not sure why you'd bowl piolet rather than another spinner after seeing patel cause problems previous over.
it looks like a sussex win tbh, glad we got the opportunity to trade out. 1.52 lay on ssx, 1.7 lay on wwr, still around £60 more green on wwr so worth watching to the end.
got to fancy sussex here still. 2 overs PP to come, as well as overs from wright and rankin. Warwickshire need another wicket or 2 relatively quickly, or to get the RRR up to near 10.

last 2 overs brought them back into this massively. 34/18. They have to attack the next over as it's the last pp one. I've taken my stake back, but leaving green all with warwickshire.

Just doing what Sussex regularly do in televised fixtures - keep the match-winners locked in the hutch until they've ensured the match is effectively lost.
I won small on the game, but didn't lay Sussex anything like as heavily as I should have in the closing stages because I was fearful of Chris Jordan turning the game around in a couple of deliveries. Of course, Sussex demoted him to number 9 and didn't let him near the crease until they needed 12 from 2 balls. Even then he hit the first ball for 4.
