We are almost halfway through. I would be interested to hear everyone's thoughts and gut feelings.
The playoffs are gonna be played in Chennai and Kolkata.

Let me get the ball rolling:

RCB 6-2  3.75
Not a very balanced side but it is working. Just played 4 at home now they have to play 6 in a row away.
Get the feeling their bowling will be found out. And Tiwary seems in awful form which makes the tail starts at 5.
Probably a lay at this point, even though they are a shoe-in to go through to the playoffs.

CSK 5-2  3.75
The best side of the lot in my book. Great batting line-up. They could do with a wicket-taker up front but the bowling is pretty well balanced. Just solid. They lose when they feck it up.

HS 5-2  11.5
At first glance the greatest thing about this team is that they are 5-2. But Dhawan should be available for the next game and you gotta wonder how they are gonna lose if they can post 150. Their NRR is a wonder though and they might need to win 10 games to go through. There has been quite a move on them in the past week and i can see why.
An interesting back.

RR 4-3 13.5
Gotta love the royals. Backing them blindly in every game must have been worth a fortune. Always underrated.
A well-balanced side, batting is ok, even though they could do with a finisher.
I'd like to see them bringing Shah in for Cooper. And an indian bowler for Shukla (Sree?)
They win the revelation of the year award, as it is often the case, with Faulkner.

K11 4-3 17.0
Need to drop Gilly period.
They used to bat very deep with Harris at 11 but they changed it all up. The indian batsmen are in good nick which always helps. But this could change quickly. Vohra wasn't too impressive today.
And gotta wonder about the bowling. Awana does a good job but that's just 4 overs.

MI 3-3  5.7
Well nobody would be surprised if they won the trophy but would you be surprised if they didn't make it through to the playoffs?
There is no team spirit and you can understand why. They are more a commercial brand than a cricket team.
Tough to know what to expect with them. Wouldn't back but wouldn't lay either.

KKR 2-4  18.5
When 2 batsmen in your top order stink the place out, you haven't worked out your formula quite right (same goes for Mumbai).
They had K11 at 109-7 after 16 and let the game slip, through atrocious fielding, lazyness, condescension, you name it.
I am not one of the conspiracy theorists but if you gotta pick one team to sell its soul, that's KKR.
They play the final at home, so they could win it. But they could as well finish wooden spoon.

PI 2-6  44.0
A bunch of overrated players. On paper you think they could be pretty dangerous but they are just really bad at playing cricket.
Their NRR got battered and they they need 10W. Which means they need to win 8 in a row just to go through.
This just doesn't happen in T20. They are OUT.

DD 1-7 100
You can have a tenner at a tenth of the true odds but what's the point? They are OUT as well.

Some people like to put their whole bank on dead certs, and laying both Pune and Delhi (And they have to play each other twice) gives you 3% interest in a month.
Not too bad an investment.

Well whaddya think?
