Agree that NZ bowlers are not so potent. Only took 2 wickets the other night, not good enough to win any games...personallly think NZ are a better chasing side rather than building a target. Will look early at conditions and batting wicket before taking a position on this game

as you say, fully warmed up and overall too much quality. hoping for the first odi series win since 1994. would love to see us bat first and see how big a total we can post with the build a base/ let the middle order explode strategy

By:
I watched and lost money on the 2nd ODI, but NZ's bowlers are toothless without a strike weapon like Vettori and Shane Bond in this side.

Feel like other bowlers can get hit out, all of them can be targeted............they dont have a specialist bowler in their line up
By:
Tim Southee, Kyle Mills, Nathan McCullum, Boult.....nothing special about that bowling line up. NZ's best chance to win is chasing a target.........

Top Batsman markets : Ross Taylor @ 4.90, Alistair Cook @ 4.40 look decent bets to me

By:
im sure thats the right decision from a game perspective, but would have loved to see us bat first

how many runs do we see NZ getting? I'm tempted to back 300+..I can't see the openers being as conservative as they were the other night as they ultimately cost them the game. If the openers have a go..Taylor and Brendon could clean up!! Thoughts?

tiny boundaries: trott should not be playing.
By:
they will post 320 plus imo
By:
Anyone else think runline of 272.5 is on the skinny side? I think they will clear that easily!
By:
hope so...Then I will put the profit on Eng to chase it..Morgan and Butler could potentially chase anything!!
By:
shocking stuff..really are clueless!! rely on 2 batsmen every match!!!

Woeful start for the Kiwis
Too much pressure on Rosco and McSlogga now |
By:
where is the pressure on the bowlers? shocking stuff..

Even Ken Rutherford would be better at his age now than his son
