After backing Pakistan in the last 2 ODI's I am struggling to see reason behind the India favouritism in the market. Am I missing something? Should money really be this easy?

I have no money or allegiance in this. Just got home from the BBL then pub here in aus. Fix anyone. Please ICC, grow a pair. I love this sport.

Hafeez has fixed this big time lol. Didnt cross, caused a run out. Hasnt played well at all and i bet he gets out as well to fnish this off.

it's not a fix u need to do ur research the delhi ground is known for low scores + it's harder to bat during the 2nd innings on it.
anyway anyone who bets on pakistan especially in a dead rubber match is looking for trouble.

Unfortunately the players look at their match fee and then look at what they are being offered and it is a simple decision from there.

That was some highly skillful fixing to drag it on for 48.5 overs. They really milked it. Fair play, that was well done.

Bookmakers who earn money in these fixed games are not on Betfair. The bookmaking industry in the Indian sub continent is huge. Spot betting gets some a fortune.
even the devils advocates on here must feel stupid trying to put up the innocence argument on this match.

I didn't bet on the game, we know that games have been fixed in the past, no doubt there were the same muppets making excuses for those games at the time as well. I'm more concerned about how these idiots have basically killed any belief in the game itself.
Ask yourself, have Pakistan previous for fixing matches? Have or are some of their International players in jail for match fixing?

you can see when a team is trying to win and when they are unable to because of the wicket. Pakistan were not even bothered, and in a couple of instances actually seemed to be chucking their wickets away on purpose.
These matches are often fixed. Some very nieve people on this forum today.
Tail enders can't run between the wickets. Nothing new there.
Hafeez's scoring rate was comparable to most batsmen in that match. He ran out of partners but knew when to go hard at the end.
I've seen several fixes but that wan't one. Saeed showed how much the ball was gripping when he bowled. It was very cold adding to the juice in the pitch.

At what point Nigel, was that game thrown by Pakistan?
Before Saeed took 5 or after?
Before Pakistan were 100-3 or after?
They threw away a winning position in a low scoring match. Sure they have 'history' but I'm willing to judge matches on a game by game basis NOT by which teams are playing.

True that mad dogs. When Pakistan rapped up the series in game 2 I said game 3 will be match fixing heaven but unfortunately didn't bet.
Well MadDogs as 95% of people on here lose long term I would guess most of them bet for interest in the game. I've lost a great deal of interest in the game because of the wnkers who now take part, I can't believe in this shiite any more.
Christy - why don't you bet on the market and not on the game? If you watch the odds you can make money no matter whether a game is fixed (in your opinion) or not.

surely all the people claiming fix have to concede that events like this do happen in cricket without anything untoward going on. therefore they cannot be certain that pakistan are guilty.

I can't say I feel sorry for anyone who backed Pakistan at short odds. We are experienced gamblers aren't we.

Agreed. Market is so liquid - prices wouldn't have been obvious like they are in county cricket.

Please don't think cricket is inherently corrupt. I believe there is spot fixing at times but rare. Match fixing is very rare imo.

Well Injera, normally as a neutral after a game like that you have been on the edge of your seat thinking what a great comeback, classic game, but you don't and there is only one reason for that.

I also know racing is fixed, doesn't mean I know the result any more than you know the cricket result

Common-sense tells me the game was fixed, if you really believe this was straight then it would have to be one of the greatest games ever won by India, give us a break.
how could that be constituted as the greatest game ever when it was a dead rubber so the pak players wouldnt have been as motivated and the fact that the batting line up is very average? wasnt an easy wicket to bat on and india wanted it more, end of, i had 160 on pak last night at 2.06 and ended up losing just 15pound but i dont think it was a fix, most claiming it is are pocket talking or seemingly miserable bitter grumpy old men

Well as I doubt that Indians are fixers, but Pak are. The fix can only go one way.... Against Pak.

Idont know i dont even know if it was a fix or just a collapse. But either way there was big potential for pak to make a pigs ear of that chase, just gutted it didnt make 1.02

im pretty bitter about that.. i baked the pakis at 1.19 after they skittled india in 42 overs.....i dont think it was fixed...however, i can see why people are really pi*sed off.. no professional team should lose from that position... and there were some v suspicious looking run outs...
