Just looking at the odds before i head out on the town

What price will aussies be if sri lanka win toss and bat first surely would have to go for a ball of chalk?

Thought SL played well in the last test no Starc for sure maybe no clark 1.56 is plenty short enough, believe there is also abit of weather about on day 3-4

Aussies gonna rely alot on siddle and the debutant bird he looks useful but first test match nerves could play a big part

There have not been many draws played out in tests here recently so looks a straight shootout

But a lay off aussies with possible weather concerns could be the play

Happy xmas to all the cricket lads and heres to a prosperous new year

Best of luck fellas

If only SL had a new ball bowler.i'd be piling in.Big mistake this CA rotation ****.Starc out has already cost AU a series loss.If SL win the toss will be laying AU till the cows come home.

not any more - par for first session would be 2 for 80 so not too bad

Aust have the best pace bowlers but Sri Lankan spinner far better so interesting

7.8 Sri Lanka pretty good i think

2 draws in last 24 tests and one of those rain affected

have a soft spot for Sri Lanka but with their star batsman around 35 they may soon even drop behind Bangladesh if this performance is any guide

sri lanka aren't interested in test match cricket

sad but true.

they just want the riches that comes with 20/20

Dilshan just looks like he is trying to get his eye in for the IPL.  It has been a long time since I have seen a worse shot in a test match,

not interested is unduly harsh.

lacking the appetite is probably fairer and in part, it's probably to do with the age of the engine room of their batting.

Jaya (35), Sanga (35), Dilshan (36) and Samaweera (36) are all nearing the end of their careers and whilst Mathews certainly has got the gumption, the rest are second rate and their bowling is ordinary, particularly in unfamiliar conditions.

The reluctance to captain the side has always seemed strange to me as well.

well they wont be playing test match cricket until next December after this series so i have to question the desire

Wish I could see a senario where the draw will get to sub 10

If the new ball doesn't do something special  where do we finish day two, Aussies 260/270 ahead?

Getting toward 450 in front maybe by tea on day three and then 7 sessions to bowl Lanka out to win by an innings and loads

Anyone see it any different??

innings defeat on the cards here , Pup will want to bat once and once only , all over on the 4th day for me

restrict lead to 200 (an immediate big if) - then SL score 500 on pitch that may suit them then Herath bowls Aust out for 200

dreaming

another shocking display

i have been very cautious of SL since the World Cup Final and a few interesting IPL games.  not sure they are this blatant though
