Update 8.40pm local time: The Heat's innings is officially over. Perth's innings needs to begin before 9.12pm local time or the game will be called off. The Duckworth Lewis method shows that the Scorchers will need 51 off the first 5 overs if the game is restricted to a 5 over game.

How funny was that commentary "that guy was queuing for a beer, and he got a cricket ball" 
D/L doesn't even work for 50 over games. It is ridiculous if you knew how it worked properly, to think that it even got any notice at all, let alone became the formula of choice.
should have been like 62 off 5 overs ( especially with all 10 wickets )
i did very nicely out of that, but one of these franchises needs to tell Messrs Duckworth and Lewis that they will no longer be using their resource tables for T20s, and instead use one of the completely free T20 specific revisions published by academics.
yeah , the amount off T20 tournaments around the world now warrant a revision of the D/L charts in T20 cricket

plus , with a 5 over contest , ur best bowlers can only bowl 1 OVER !!!

it's the resource tables that are wrong. derived from 1st class cricket matches (i **** you not) and then modified for ODIs and then interpolated from there.
is just a load of of crap. resource usage in T20 is dramatically different and it has to be based exclusively on T20 data.
i can only assume the pair of them hate this format.

Yeah nicky. Just. Was up about 2 grand before the rain came, so thought I would get smart and put a bet on CMM. Then another. Then another. **** if I can read a radar. Ended up minimising that to -1800 loss, and got about 2600 profit out of backing Perth after the wicket.

Did anyone in Australia have trouble ringing betfair during Perth's innings last night. After the slow start I wanted to back Perth and for nearly two overs I couldn't get through then it was too late. Cost me big.
