Sydney in awful trouble early at 3/14 in the 4th over. Pitch has a bit in it, but the slower bowling is getting the results. Rebuilding phase here, and Smith will work it around nicely. Haddin/Henriques/Smith all back in the shed, and their best batsmen. They are in big trouble, but Smith is capable of being the anchor.

Damn! I was tempted by the good odds on the Scorchers before the match started. But I guess I didn't want to go against a team on a 12 game winning streak. Was hoping for a good start from the Scorchers...but this is TOO good a start...LOL I dont think there's any way back for the Sixers from here. Not unless O'Keefe can smash a quick 50+.

Can't see how Sydney possibly win this 1/7 games. Perth are coming off a shocker, call it form, or call it whatever. I prefer to call it a T20 game that didn't work for them. The same way that the Champions League winners were 6/29 at one point here. Perth are a decent team, with decent batsmen, chasing a score that is below par by at least 30 runs. Pitch was doing a bit early, and I suspect it was because the covers were on before the game so was a bit sweaty. Doesn't appear to be any rain around any more, pitch should play much better, and I think Perth should be closer to 1.08.
I don't open backs at 1.15, but very tempted here. Reality is there is much more upside in laying them hoping for an early wicket. But I don't like to open a trade that I don't consider value. Tough call, but have to sit this out until I see a positive risk/reward bet at value. Not there right now.
But my opinion is the pitch for that innings was about 145, and is much better now, so even their par score of 145 was too low by 15-20 runs or so.
Only real hope for SS, is that Perth chase the target, and not go out to bat to the conditions, which obviously happens far too often.
Perths game to lose here, should win comfortably. But will be watching.

Still need a run a ball (when starting RRR was less), not finding the gaps, dropped catches everywhere, think a sneaky lay is well justified at 1.03...
