I think India's starting price at odds against is huge. We won't see a draw in Mumbai with the way England are batting. So India are a cracking price at the moment. This could be as high as they get all match.

Had a small bet India @ 6.8, market loves India a 100 run partnership coupled with 150/200 lead and India are back into it.
basically if India get more than 125 lead they go odds on

in the 2009 ashes in the 3 tests he played Bell played well at Edgebaston and crucially the Oval. All of eng were crapa t Leeds. He did ok in 2010/11 done under without being brilliant. Got a ton at Sydney although he was prob out on 60 but not given. Do you see Bell playing a bottling inns against Siddle and Co ?

Yes - I'm not a big fan of Pieterson personally but there's no doubt he's a necessary evil and without him here we would have been in deep sh1te again.
I am a big fan of Pietersen. I don't go drinking with him, just watch him bat. He rises to the big occasion not against Windies, Bangla, NZ and Zim where plenty of batsmen pad their averages. I don't care what highly paid sports professionals do or how they act off field. He is disciplined and trains real hard. Some of the others could do with following his example.

Totally agree with whispering death. I still have my reservations about having saffers in the time, but we are playing to the rules, theyre here, get used to it. An awesome player. Remember him playing first class cricket in saffers unpaid to try and get into form for the last ashes.
I actually suspect he is a bit of a bellend having seen the way he acts sometimes, and i dont think he is the sharpest tool in the box, best off keeping him off twitter and out of press conferences etc as he always speaks before he thinks. But what a batsman.

there's something about a prevailing attitude that i find incredibly unsavoury, petulant and immature: that the only reason india lost 4-0 in england was because of favourable home conditions, and OBVIOUSLY if the tables are turned so too will the result.

Great post dstyle - A lot of the Indians stated that England prepared greentops when they toured - what greentop was prepared ? Lords ?, The Oval?, Edgbaston? the only wicket that could be described as such was Trent Bridge and that is the natural characteristic of the ground. The reasons for India's humiliation have been brilliantly outlined by dstyle
