1.48 Delhi - jeez IPL teams are seriously over-backed. Problem is trying to get any traction out of it early on as the downward pressure always seems constant.
Early wicket is a bit of a problem but the whole point of T20 is that wickets are to be expected... certainly 1.3s is very short even for Delhi (which I rate as the best IPL side in this tourney at the moment)...

Marsh should have started hitting out early, wasted a lot of balls. Sometimes pinch-hitters start to believe they are batsmen

Why in hell would you be greening out at 1.26 on a 100% certainty?

All 3 out batsmen are international test/odi/T20 players, not just club players. If batting isn't looking that easy, then there could be other scenarios than "batting like retards"....
I won't bet on Newcastle until theyre at least 6/0 from the first over.

can't see beyond DD for this game ... Perth looked clueless ... can't see it being rained off either ... they only need to get 5 overs in ...
At the same time, batting will get harder. Sticky wicket here, so need to start off goal of winning in 18 overs or so, because Hoggy will cause some carnage.

I think with T20 matches when they are 7 down and its close on the runs, these markets underestimate the ability of the lower order batsmen to score. Teams in these competitions basically bat all the way down to the last player.

In the next game I am not underestimating the Titans side, they look quite strong.
Both teams batting line up full of international cricketers and struggled to play any big shots. Majority of the runs coming from singles/twos. This will come down to who runs best between the wickets.

This is not what I expected after the last game but as I'm on KKR at North of Evens I am Currently At Ease with the situation!
Clearly I posted in the wrong thread but my status remain the same in the game that followed this one!
