ENG are a great side but can't deal with spin or tough run chases very well.

to be honest nigel it was  really spinning much, i think it was just poor shot selection time and again.the b0000llox peopme say about bring umpteen(and in fact inferior players in) is just that    b000llloox. i can see that prior would be a popular choice ahead of keisswetter but apart from that these are our best players.to be fair prior never really shone when given the chances before altho theres a case for saying hes a far better player nowadays.

another thing i find strange is that  all the forumites KNEW that thios would happen yet didnt force indias price down to somewhere near 1.5 lolol one reason is possibly not being able to get on at tyhat kinda price untill  it was cleae which way the game was goinglol.

I did not have a bet and this match was a non event i hope when it matters all englands  game improves they were sloppy. Also india batted properly until the last couple of overs.England cross batted in first over i dont believe its impossible to play normal shots with maybe a slog in the last couple of overs.

btw i did have a small bet on england but i try not to let this colour my view.naturally like anyone else who backed eng  i was really dissapionted with their performance today butif i think they are a good price in the  next match illl still be a backer and if i think they are underpriced ill be a layer, i think puntings a tough enough task without letting your previuous bets/ investments  decide your next bets..happy punting all....

ive backed eng v windies, market totaly over reacted to engs dismal efforts v india.prior to the india match eng must surely have been favs here.i guess much will depend how long it takes to get gayle.i fully accept that narine as a front line spinner will be hard to knock about but samuels and gayle are part time spinners and both inferior to the full time spinners our players meet in the domestic one day stuff.if we fail to sort the part time spinners out here it will be worrying for the rest of the comp.
