Report nigelpm1 September 18, 2012 4:29 PM BST
yeah, that's true dan.  My worst loss to date was in a CB40 game - changed my mind twice and ended up with big red on both outcomes - horrible.

Have you guys found that very often a relatively small red can be scalped out successfully but there will be the odd occasion where you lose a large amount?
Report West Coast Eagles September 18, 2012 4:33 PM BST
Waller has a shocking arm, cant throw, cant field, cant catch.

Maybe they should consider bringing him in the inner circle?

Yes indeed.  They have a odd "good/lucky" game but overall they are mugs in the field, mugs at bowling and mugs with the bat.  Total and utter mugs in fact.

The only way that could be given out with any certainty is if the rule is that some pressure has to be exerted on the ground as opposed to touching it. Gut feeling was out but it's possible the umpire has been fooled by the fact the toe end of a boot bends.

Report the silverback September 18, 2012 5:31 PM BST
the camera shots they have can't clearly show a gap between the very bottom of his boot and the ground. It's possible it was brushing the ground ever so lightly.

Report HansUlrichApfelStrudel September 18, 2012 5:33 PM BST
Typical 3rd umpire decision

1. Umpire thinks it is out.
2. Spends 5 minutes looking for a shot that shows that clearly.
3. Doesn't find one.
4. Gives it out on his hunch anyway.
