To celebrate the 2012 Twenty20 World Cup, here's a competition with a prize of £250 available to the winner.
To enter, simply reply to this thread with your answer for each of the following, including the tie-breaker. The points available for each question are shown in brackets:
1 Name the winning team (10)
2 Name the runners-up (5)
3 Which team will achieve the highest score in a single innings? (2)
4 Name the player who will be top run scorer in the entire tournament (3)
5 Name the player who will be top wicket taker in the entire tournament (3)
6 Name the team to score most 6s in the entire tournament (2)
7 How many centuries will be scored in the entire tournament? (1)
Tie-break: How many runs will be scored, in total, in the final?
NB - If there is more than one correct answer to questions 3, 4, 5 or 6, then anyone with a correct answer will score points for that question.
If the player you wish to nominate in questions 3 and/or shares the same surname as another player in the tournament, please be clear as to what your entry is.
The winner will be the person who correctly answers the first 7 questions. If no-one gets 7 correct answers, the winner will be the person who scores the highest number of points. If there is a tie, then the person closest to the tie-break answer will win. If there is still a tie, the prize will be shared.
Entries for this competition will close at 2pm on Tuesday September 18, and the thread will be locked.
Only one entry per person permitted - if you do submit multiple entries, only your first entry will be considered.
The prize will be paid directly into the winner's Betfair account. Prizes cannot be collected or paid by any other method than a credit into the winner's account.
Therefore you must have an active Betfair account to receive any prize.
