Hi,
Placed a 'reasonable' bet on the England 20/20 of over 40 runs in overs 1-5, yet they have settled it as a loss???
I have checked the rules and when betting on a set amount of overs (shortened) they all need to be bowled else void from what I understand, was called off after 4.1 so how can they settle this as a loss? Are they taking the pi**?

yes, had 300 on it but their phone lines are closed to query it..

It should be void as the rules state. Don't bet with them or BlueSq they are the same company and both terrible.

Ben Gee...yeah , I had problems with them before ... I bet 400 quid at 11 to 10 on a fringe cricket market, over 1.5 runs in an over during a test match ... the bet was unsettled ...and I had all sorts of hassle getting paid , many phone calls / emails , was hard work I tell ya ...
heres their rules on runs in specific amount of overs rules ... Team Runs Betting: Where prices are available on a runs total in a specified number of overs (e.g. Innings Runs (50 overs), 1st 15 overs or 1st 6 overs) the full number of overs must be bowled for bets to stand, unless an innings has reached its natural conclusion (ie; a team has won, lost or is bowled out) or a result has already been determined on the total at which the bet was struck. the significant part of that is "..the full number of overs must be bowled for bets to stand..." as the full number of overs weren't bowled bets don't stand ,and therefore voided and stakes returned, I think thats a fair assumption, although there is room for ambiguity , cos if bets don't stand does it mean they are voided or lost ??? logic and fairness would dictate stakes returned , but we see what they do ... lets us know how you got on Ben , its always interesting to see how these cases conclude |

IBAS would rule that in your favour - it would have been interesting had they got the runs in the 4.1 overs whether they would have paid out as a winner.
