i guess the reasoning behind the price must be the chances of D/L if the game gets shortened
Why do cricket authorities insist on scheduling one dayers in third world , rain infested slurry pits like Wales ? dry as a bone in East Anglia . has been for weeks.
I hear this Elgar kid is a bit of an enigma, but has some good variations with the ball.
Are there a minimum number of over that have to be bowled for the 'England Runs' market to qualify as a bet?

SA way too short so a lay of them probably a good way to go. I'm on the CMM though... NO was available to lay at 1.25 this morning!

They've only got an hour before they have to start. Like Nigel says a 3pm start gives just 30 minutes more delay. No chance this game will be finished.

Market seems to be overreacting simply to the fact the players are coming out rather than the forecast of not raining for a total of now 24 minutes.

While you're kind of right, I seem to recall some of the best IPL scores, team and invididual wise weren't dependant on the first over or so. Gayle especially springs to mind. However, Cook doesn't have the same gears as Gayle.
I'm trying to decide whether there's any point in trading this match. At least I have some green on the CMM and just going to leave that at the very least.

Point taken Darlo but none the less to seem them both smacking the ball around in the 4th and 5th over you would have to wonder what the hold up was. I guess part of it is lulling the opposition into thinking you are struggling. RR fine again now all it took was 2 overs to have it over 7
I think the days of a pinch-hitter going after the bowling from the first delivery seem to have gone - and bizarrely with the advent of T20 cricket.
