As an Essex supporter of many years sad to say our club is in total disarray (annihilated by the orange wallers last week) and cannot recommend a bet on them today...anything odds against should be snapped up and currently the west country mob are available @ 13/10 with 365 and thats where my hard earned will be going today.

Btw, why is Napier described as "medium fast"? He looks one of the few genuinely fast bowlers still operating in county cricket whenever I've watched him live.

Would have stayed on Gloucestershire if i knew they would be going at 13 an over at the end! Probably gonna be seeing Red now! 
Gloucs were 2.8 pre-match. No way should they be a bigger price now after setting a target of 225 imo.
normally would agree,but pitch much easier to bat on now sun has come out and stayed out.

Radar update: It looks as if the bands of rain are likely to pass just south of the ground but delays later are possible, although not enough to prevent a completion.
