I'm looking to head to the Oval in the summer for the test match against SA. Any recommendations on which stand I should look to sit in, not all are available but most are. There is a large range in prices, I have seen from £45 up to £98. My brother isn't particularly keen on cricket but I am dragging him along, he'd be content to drink in the sun I imagine so a pre-requisite is that our seats would be in the sun for the whole day ideally. Any help appreciated cheers
The stands that are side on to the wicket (i.e midwicket/deepcover) are the most open, and also the cheapest seats.
Overall it's quite a sunny ground, unless you are underneath the bigger stands at either end.
Last couple of years I've been in blocks 16/17 which are open, but you have a bit of an angled view which I prefer to the side on. These are £60.
