To mark the start of the First Test between Sri Lanka and England, here's a simple competition for a chance to win £50. All you have to do is reply to this thread with your answer to all of the following:
1 - What will the result of the First Test be (SL win/Eng win/Draw)?
2 - Which player will score the most runs in the First Test?
3 - Tiebreaker: how many runs will be scored in total in the First Test?
The winner will be the customer who gets all three questions right. If no-one gets all three right, the winner will be the customer who gets the first two questions right and is closest to the tie-breaker answer. If no-one gets the first two questions right, the winner will be the person who gets question 1 right and is closest to the tie-breaker. If there is still a tie, the prize will be split.
If you select a player who does not play, that's bad luck - we will not accept requests for replacements or changes. Your entry is your entry.
Only one entry per person permitted - if you do submit multiple entries, only your first entry will be considered.
All entries must be submitted as replies on this thread no later than 4am (UK time) on Monday March 26.
The winner will be contacted via a Private Message (on the new forum), and will be required to reply to confirm their name, e-mail address and their Betfair account details.
The prize will then be paid directly into the winner's Betfair account. Therefore, you must have a funded and active Betfair account. Prizes cannot be collected or paid by any other method than a credit into the winner's account. If the winner does not respond to the PM within 24 hours, the prize will pass to the next nearest entrant. We will endeavour to credit the winner's account within 3 working days of receiving confirmation of their details.
Congratulations to vbscorpion, who correctly predicted a Sri Lanka win and that Mahela Jayawardene would top score, and had the closest total match runs prediction (1147) of those who also got parts 1 and 2 correct.
