big picture is that and ms dhoni is not in the team its very huge plus point for mahela jaywardne and odds r 1.95 its to big against srilanka Sri Lanka have lost nine of their 11 ODIs at the Gabba. Their only win came against South Africa in 2006 parthiv patel will play his first odi of this tour may be raina or rohit will be out match will play on same track where ind and aus played India: (probable) 1 Sachin Tendulkar, 2 Virender Sehwag (capt), 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Virat Kohli, 5 Rohit Sharma/Suresh Raina, 6 Parthiv Patel (wk), 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 R Ashwin, 9 Irfan Pathan, 10 Vinay Kumar/Zaheer Khan, 11 Umesh Yadav   Sri Lanka: (probable) 1 Mahela Jayawardene (capt), 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Dinesh Chandimal, 5 Lahiru Thirimanne, 6 Angelo Mathews, 7 Thisara Perera, 8 Farveez Maharoof, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara, 10 Lasith Malinga, 11 Rangana Herath.............and there is very good chance of rain in tomorrows game and if i suggest back india in this odds surely in first inning u will get around 1.40 ind then lay double in next inning u will see srilanka fav but all the way go with india all best and good luck guys hope u all will make good profit

with Sri Lanka finding form under Jaywardene and Dhoni out for India I'd say that the Sri Lankan's are value at odds against.

Not sure how you can say India will hit 1.4 in the first innings without either prediciting they will win overall or without knowing weather they will bat or bowl first.

The rain could have a big impact with cricinfo predicting a fair it of disruption but I'd fancy Sri Lanka weather they bat or bowl first to be honest.

In november I swore I was off cricket after a series of disasters until next english summer but changed my mind and i'm back on cricket now. As a withdrawer not a depositor on betfair there is no reason why I shouldn't also win on cricket.  Will follow some rules , no pregame position ever after the toss, no jumping on the team that just lost a wicket in the mistaken belief that the market always overeacts to that and  no listening to ex pros in the commentary box and being swayed by them

Have the Sri Lankan been paid yet coz they are beginning to show some spark and back in november they hadn't been paid for many months?

Dhoni is often very influential on the outcome of India's ODI matches in particularly with the bat against Sri Lanka recently.  There's a good chance his exclusion will make the difference in the outcome today.

Without rain, I suspect Sri Lanka will score around 250, so would be the same odds as they are now.

Runs market says 1.7 equates to about 225.

1.72 would be a big price with 250 on the board.  It should be enough.

Ya 250 would be enough to test the injuns without msd.mind it lads gabba always tough to put bat to ball under da lights, forgot gg got out to a ball that lee doesn't bowl at his age,but for da wicket zip.so birch u r pin on,250 will see da market shrink to .45,if not so......lump sl,oh yaaaaaa lankans got paid by da board,so no bookie obligation too lol

Market thinks otherwise......hoping a collapse.....doesn't want to offer lower lay for sl.....odds just abt wrong....65 would be right if sl. 80/1.....should be in 50s

didn't play aggressive enough when they could have done so what a shame but like I said earlier I think at this stage India will be down 4 wickets so nothing to worry about but the market thinks otherwise lol

Was on Sri Lanka at 1.95 1.66 1.63 & 1.6 and layed it all of at about 28 ticks less and spread the green on both sides!

Hardly earth shattering but this is cricket and I find cricket is no cakewalk and I'll leave it at that for this game!

Market in a dilemma,so am i,would be happy to see 180/3 at 40 over mark to launch for a final assault...240 would make it interestingly poised

By:

When: 21 Feb 12 05:44
Certainly looking like 200 off 40 followed by what should be a 10 over assault with plenty of artillery in the shed.
