Personally I am betting on Pakistan to win this one and have backed them to take the series 4-0.
England are in very poor form and confidence. They should get a few runs batting first but whatever they get I think Pakistan will chase down. Once England lose this one their chances of winning one of the other 3 are greatly reduced. |

anyone on runs today?
|
|
By:
yes layed 200 runs england are rubbish
|

I reckon KP will do a decent job at the top of the order and get England going pretty well. backed him over 27.5 runs.
Also done over 24.5 from first 5. I've backed England first up but intend to trade towards Pakistan win after 10-15 overs. |

I think it is all about Eng batting today because Pak are not exactly world beaters with the bat. They are however with the ball on pitches like this. Eng need some decent score on the board then they can win. Despite being a better short format side Eng are anything but a safe bet today. No bet at the moment. Good luck all

I can't believe the price on pakistan, if I hadn't emptied my BF account I'd back Pakistan all day long.

gone England 195-254 runs. can't see anymore but reckon they should scrape 200.

Lol Ancic, no, I withdrew all my funds, leaving an account of about £20 but it's all tied up in long term prem table bets.

very nearly a very good XI for england here. bowling looks good with fatel and ravi sharing the 5th 10 overs
perhaps the one improvement would be flexibility in the batting order. (sorry to sound like a broken record on this). if pietersen gets out early, Trott and Cook are hugely unsuitable in good batting conditions during the power play. they have shown time and time again that neither of them is prepared to take on the role of the aggressor with another one playing the anchor role. you would have to promote bedwetter or perhaps patel. i find it a bit daft that the selection process always takes into account the nature of the wicket and the most suitable bowlers yet rarely is there such flexibility in selecting batsmen for tracks and the batting order. |
|
By:
out field lovely and quick
|
|
By:
Dstyle looking at the scores if you didn't know better you'd be saying Cook was the aggresor in this partnership while KP was the cautious one.
KP not exactly playing his role, hopefully doesn't fill in the dots for 10 overs then get himself out. |
|
By:
good opening partnership
|
|
By:
definitely today ff. but my point is more of a general one.
we don't expect finn to bowl leg breaks; we shouldn't' expect trott to play like chris gayle. different players skills and abilities are better suited to different conditions and particularly in the shorter game, i think there is far too much expectation on the batsmen, particularly the top order, to be more adaptable than they are capable of being. |
|
By:
specially cook is playing like a cham while kp is silent
