For me it was the finish of the mens marathon. It was just like the old days with runners staggering over the line and collapsing on the ground. Not saying I enjoy seeing athletes suffer but they were truly heroic. I switched to the red button to watch the stragglers coming in but didnt hang around long enough to see the Lesotho runner finish.

Chris Hoy in the Kerrin.

Looked like the German was past him with half a lap to go, but showed true Olympic Champion refusal to be beaten.

Also the Woen's Double Sculls. Kath Grainger has been a fantastic torch bearer for GB Women's rowing for a generation and is a thoroughly decent person, athlete, mentor and role model. No one 'deserves' an Olympic medal - they all have to be earned - but I was pleased when she finally got her Gold.

I thought Jade Jones win in the taekwondo was superb...as it was so unexpected, but for me the best moment was Anthony Joshua winning gold in the boxing. The lad being brought up on the same estate as myself.

Farah from a british perspective. Rudisha was the best from an athletics standpoint. Breaking the record in the Olympics in middle distance these days is unheard of. Phenomenal

100 of them , number 21 is rather good but sad.

You have all missed a massive one that seemed to go largely unnoticed.

Kirani James, eventual winner of 400m Gold, seeking out Oscar Pistorius after they had finished first and last respectively in the semi final, and asking Pistorius if they could swap name tags.

A beautiful moment that deserved more coverage. Not patronising, but a man who could easily have celebrated his win or disappeared to prepare for his final ahead instead choosing to seek out and recognise someone who he clearly has huge admiration for. Bit more on it here...
