There is a very big difference between an athlete who transfers allegiance after competing for another country and a kid who arrives here and spends his childhood at a British school. Mo is British and is proud to be so.

The "who do you think you are" programme showed that very few people who feel that they are British can trace that back for more than 3 generations. Less than half of the population of Brazil have ancestors who were there in 1940. So what?
