Unbelievable commentary - Mackintosh ignored Russian flooring her and continued to rant about Taylor then co-commentator said Taylor was giving her a boxing lesson.

I bet none of those Irish supporters in the Excel have lived in Ireland for years - phoney patriotism if ever I saw it. The lass deserves the win though.
Agreed elise. If there was an arguement against the womens competition it has been well and truly quashed.

Completely agree - was very sceptical beforehand but frankly have been amazed at the standard

Shields is going to be massive in the sport, win or lose. Just hope inexperience doesn't find her out here, I'm still a backer after rnd 1 (all square).

not to mention tremendous left hook from russian described by comms as brilliant right hook from Taylor

It looks like Amir Khan has started to focus on media work, now that he's finally discovered he isn't such a great boxer.
