Bolt - 0.25 seconds Evens
Blake +0.25 seconds 5/6
14/1 tie.

I like Blake in this market, what does everyone think? Blake has a p.b of 19.26 which he ran in Brussels last year, ran a joint p.b in the 100m final and he thinks this is his better event. However he will probably have to run better than he did in the Jamaican trials (19.80) Bolt (19.83).

In the 100m Bolt beat Blake by 0.12 seconds, will he really beat him twice as far in this event? Blake runs a better corner than Bolt

Blake ran 20 secs last night and he was massively easing up to the point he almost got caught on the line. It's a fairly fast track and going all out he could surely have 19.3/19.4 in him in the final. Which would mean Bolt would have to smash the WR to win the handicap.

The problem here is that although the Blake bet would seem a good one, i'm not sure i'd fancy opposing Bolt in this form.

yeah I don't really like taking on Bolt in this form just think the handicap is a touch high, suppose it all depends on whether you believe Blake can get near his PB of 19.26 as he hasn't managed to do so since. Would say if you were doing a market on each persons time in the final it would be something like Bolt 19.30 higher or lower 10/11, Blake 19.45 higher or lower 10/11.

Saying all this watch Bolt go and smash the world record and make me look very daft.

Blake running 20 seconds and slowing down so much he almost stopped at the line suggests he can go very close to his PB tonight.

haha, cut it to 0.22 seconds now, 4/5

I'm quite tempted by the world record market. 3.15 seems a little high to me.

not value anymore, bookies have react...

Main thing that puts me off Blake is that when he ran 19.26, Walter Dix ran 19.53. Hope Blake can reproduce that sort of time and make a race of it, but not so sure.

Part II of Usain Bolt v Yohan Blake (2055 BST)
Report Poppydog. August 9, 2012 6:51 PM BST
In fact I might as well paste it all:

Part II of Usain Bolt v Yohan Blake (2055 BST) has the potential to blow the 80,000 spectators out of their seats.
As does the men's 800m final (2000), which features Kenyan great David Rudisha and Britain's Andrew Osagie.
It should have been the big night for Phillips Idowu, but the men's triple jump final (1920) takes place without him.
We also have women's 800m semis (1930), women's 4x100m preliminaries (2020) and the women's javelin final (2100).
