4 clear rounds so far in the first round, 13 riders to go (incl. Skelton). Got to figure a double-clear needed to win this (+ possible jump-off, too)

I don't think I'll be able to watch Nick and Big Star. It will be unbearable.
Haven't followed showjumping for years, probably wouldn't be watching this if it weren't for Nick. |

Cannot this idiot who is ruining our forum have his IP address banned?

By:
Thank you, betfair mods.
By:
Nick's jumping now.
By:
Clear within the time!!
By:
I can't cope with this!
2 more to jump in round one then we go again. This is worse than watching Andy in the tennis final ![]() |
By:
Good effort, feel like my initial call validated though as 2.86 into 2.4 suggests clear round was about 1.2 which seems on the skinny side!
Won't mind if he wins either :) |

The guy there who's just retired gave his horse a nice pat

Hello Bushy, nice to know I'm not on my own.
Absolutely loving this but will be glad when it's over, hopefully with a Gold for Nick. |
By:
Had to lay @ 2.86 I'm afraid Makybe, maybe I should close out for a small loss so I can enjoy the second round properly!
By:
Betting talk goes right over my head, Bushy, lol.
I haven't had a bet since April and I don't lay. |
By:
what's the score Sue?
By:
6 on 0 inc. two Brits, realistically winner going to be one of these though the guys/girl on 1 have a faint chance:
Next round starts at 14:55 http://www.london2012.com/equestrian/event/jumping-individual/phase=eqx002101/index.html |

By:
"what's the score Sue?"
Sorry Rick, I haven't been following that closely....multitasking here today. I've only been watching Nick. I think it will be Gold for Britain. |
By:
They're back with the showjumping.
Come on Big Star! |
By:
Nick Skelton last to go.
By:
Hope they're doesn't have to be a jump off.
By:
They only have 80 seconds to get round. They can't hang about.
By:
Clear inside the time from USA
By:
I'm keeping tack on this the sailing and bmx at same time lol
By:
If there's more than one clear is it against the clock after that? Not sure I've seen a better horse than Big Star but the Hehning horse worries me and who knows about Scott Brash.
By:
apart from skelton are there any other british??
By:
yes against the clock jump-off if ties after this.
By:
Yes Scott Brash is British and one of the 6 clear. Ben Maher also British but had a fence down earlier
By:
Yes gresty, Scott Brash.
By:

By:
Mexico clear inside the time.
By:
Well any fence down can't win now, Dutch rider clear with 1 (time-)fault overall
By:
Yes, I'm getting scared for Nick.
By:
Would like to have had Steve Hadley commentating on this.
He has a very calmimg and reassuring voice. |
By:
two chances for britain.....c'mon either
By:
If Nick doesn't get the Gold I will be inconsolabe.
By:
Brutal for the Irish rider - 0.02sec outside of double-clear
By:
there backing that german
By:
I'm feeling totally drained.
Will give myself a break from the Olympics after this. |
By:
Oh crumbs, gresty.
By:
Nick will have to go clear now, inside the time. Then there will be a jump-off.
I cannot take much more of this. |
By:
-£98 Nick +£83 Guerdat :o
