Yep, The same mugfest than a few days ago between china and korea, absolute joke.

Still wondering why china was 1,25 SP. Studied their stats and respective results and it just didnt make sense. But switched to china early when they had point advantage, then it looked like they were controlling the match but bottled several Set points. Almost same scenario in 2nd set but lead was enough this time. Their trainer is an absolute idiot for not calling a timeout earlier in that kind of situations.

it's the nature of the game, each point is a cointoss and understandably so.  Amazing how even the match is yet the market was all over china.
China are number 1 hence why favourite, but on evidence in this match they should be evens.

It is not choking or bottling, this is volleyball and often good tactics or solid defense on Japans part...

In mens volleyball double break is pretty solid and you dont have so many swings, thats why I compare it to WTA. they dont take advantage of receiving points.

I followed quite a few matches over the years and can say the asiatic teams choke much more often than other parts of the world.Surprised

Anyway that said, I couldn't believe the score was even with Japan a set up and China were favourites, then after China won 2nd set you had to back Japan, China's price bouncing around 1.3-1.5 with no discernable advantage.  Looking to get on Japan here for a good comeback eventually.

China favourite 2-1 down....leading game 6-4 which means nothing at the moment..

I was green but re-entered at 1,28 with 3 points lead, which i considered a good prize as there was a high chance they would win the set and market would certianly have gone 1,12-1,15 at 2-1 sets, because fking market is always married to SP, even if its wrong.

But Japan came back magnificently in the 1st set, and the stats seem almost identical, I would bet on turnarounds not leads...

At 2-1 I am forced to switch @ 1,8, excellent prize to win 1 of 2 next sets, after all what happened so far. Of  course now th chinese c*nts keep cruising with 3-4 points for the first time of the match. But I stay with japan till the end in this one.

But what happens if it's 2-2, surely Japan should be evens?
By:

When: 07 Aug 12 14:45
yeah fking magic turnarounds at the perfect magic time 2x almost same situation. Thought china had learnt their lesson ag. korea where they did a similar scenario.
By:

Nope not evens because of momentum china if they win set 4. market will make china 1,5 but correct is 1,75
By:

When: 07 Aug 12 14:50
Well it might not even get to that, market seems completely empty when Japan look like winning, nobody believes in them...

Another choke underway maybe. market will go on tilt if japan goes 1 pt ahead.

Do you even understand what the word "choke" means??

Finally deleveraging from some too optimistic punters. market correcting now.

I think i know tsango. When you cant keep a serious lead 3/3 sets, then their is a mental problem somewhere.

choke is losing points while leading (forum definition) not falling apart at the seams (worldly definition)

not necessarily punter, surely if you can take a lead, you can be pegged back?

Brazil always needs one set to get warm and find inspiration. Will be a tight affair but think razil can do it if they keep that roll.
By:

When: 07 Aug 12 16:53
considering brazil had set point in the 1st set, they should be slight favorite at 1-1, or not far from.
