layed ali-gold,layed jon-top 3
By:
they might have been told not to dead heat, doesn't mean they won't try
if they are together with a couple of miles to go i would expect a massive bail out, for me i'd rather lay alistair, can't do much damage & you could get a decent return, plenty of time to trade too |
By:
if jon is weaker and he's trying to match ali could be to the detriment of both
By:
Had Alistair down as our biggest cert for a gold of the entire olympics.
He came back from an achilles tear and won his comeback race by almost a minute. Incredible. He also won the Olympic test event recently too and even his own brother has admitted he can't beat him. He has two ITU World Championships, 12 ITU World Triathlon Series wins (nine more than anyone else) and is one of the best swimmers, bikers and runners the sport has ever seen. |

By:
i've decided to place lay the pair, one out of the medals is a winner, peanuts risk
By:
Place lay the pair of them?
Unless they both die, they will easily be in the medals. |
By:
so are they threatened to be DQed if they jog over the line hand in hand?
By:
sure buscuit understand, but if you follow the masses then there's never much of a return, i don't make a living following the masses, happy to play the opposite way here
By:
easily, just think with these endurance events its whoever is 100% on the day,the brothers/ home olympics might work in layers favour
By:
bb theyve been warned not too so wouldnt be a shock...by the same logic if they did dh why shouldnt it be double silver
By:
imagine if they are trotting towards the line hand in hand 200 metres to go, would you want to be on a 1.5 shot?
By:
Alistair is unbeaten over this distance for 16 months.
Jonny has finished in the top 3 of his last 14 races. |
By:
yep, then i'll lose and i'm happy with the risk/return so gl
By:
By:
elise... they have already been told they'll be DQ if that is the case!
By:
i'll be cheering a gb gold anyway lol
By:
Well i'm big on an Alistair win and Jonny for top 3. The poor bus awaits for me if they lose.
By:
just its the olympics and its the extra something.....gl all
By:
rommel - how can ad/h be a double silver?
like saying when two horses d/h there's no winner and they both finished second... third horse would then be 4th! |
By:
well why would they dh?to both get gold?
By:
going for ALI Top 3 here
By:
3rd horse would still be 3rd,but using the logic of both 1st=same logic is both 2nd
By:
rommel - yeh. they have done it before so after badminton fiasco the relevant authority specifically said if they cross the line together to purposefully collect 2 golds they will be DQ
By:
ROMMEL - THOSE MATHEMATICS DONT ADD UP IN MY BOOK
By:
dont send me your book then, its pedantics innit,gl with yours, wish it would hurry up and start
By:
anyon doing equestrian? lol
By:
Don't worry about a dead heat, i think Ali will be well clear by then
By:
doing ali top 3 but tempted by jon top 3 at higher odds hmmmmm
By:
backing a few of the top ranked at bigger prices to trade, bryukhankov, reiderer, vidal, polyanskiy, justus, whitfield, vasiliev, murray
check your prices, they are bigger elsewhere in many cases |
By:
haha - yeh gl mate
By:
elise - thought you were having a small bet?
laying brownlee brothers for places, win and backign rest of the field!? you're not round hyde park are you and planing to sabotage their races??? |
By:
going forecast bet, Alistair to beat his brother
By:
this is a small bet, making a book so the risk isn't as bad as you'd imagine
By:
sc i know nozzzzzzzing but i do think its a bad bet,gl
By:
come on AB
By:
AB best runner out there so as long as up there he should do the business
By:
Happy days, Alistair is a machine
