gemili 3rd in his semi , chambers 4th but in quicker time pretty sure i've never seen a b final, i suppose 2 dqs would get chambers into the final ??? |

By:
so who wins this event
By:
no manager on duty late on sunday night. the minimum wagers are too stupid to work out who the winner is
By:

By:

chambers is 10th, gemili 11th
or both losing semi finalists but you can bet on what betfair decide as the meerkat is open |

By:
'Match Bets' for progress in a competition or event with multiple heats or rounds are determined by the competitor or team which qualifies to the furthest round (whether it takes part in the further round or not) or with the best score, time or finishing position in the final or same heat of that competition or event. If the relevant competitors or teams fail to qualify in the same round of the competition but in different heats then dead-heat rules will apply, irrespective of the finishing positions in their respective heats.

Surely Chambers time must make him the winner. If they had run in the same heat then times must be the deciding factor
By:
it is a dead heat, pople backing at odds on are going to be disappointed if this is settled according to normal rules
By:
people* sorry
By:
they were still betting on the event about 5 minutes ago,any one thinking it was easy money will have a shock with it being a dead heat
By:
A friend of mine spoke to 3 members of bf staff, because they are both out in the same round its a dead heat and dead heat rules apply. the market was only left open in case of the bizarre possibility that 2 finalists dont run in the final. anyone that has backed or layed above or below evens will be happy
By:
settled, was a dead heat
By:
Ok lost money and taken on the chin after reading the rules, but the very fact that the rules are clearly there to see should have resulted in the event being suspended the second that chambers crossed the line
By:
why the outcome technically isnt known until the final isnt run as if someone doesnt start the next person makes the final (unlikely but can happen). the rules were clearly there, if anyone was confused or not 100% they should have phoned bf to check
