our commentator here in sydney said there was another false start in a womans event. she WASN'T disqualified.
so sets a precedent you would think.

obviously less advantage in the 1500m than a 50m sprint.

like the disqualifying in the badminton, i see the olympic officials as strong and reasonable.... as opposed to FIFA.... who have no idea

I don't know the mechanics of a swimming start but surely even if each blokes has a starter noise then the swimmers either side would hear it and go.  Bring back the starter on the gun imo

Yeah I got 44s on the Aussie top 3 to potentially win 2k when she was an evens shot, she ended up 5th.  Laid Sun and he gets reinstated.  Just my luck

doesnt matter, it was only someone who thought they could steal off another persons misfortune.
