On the track we've got Ennis in the final of the heptathlon (about 8.30pm), Mo Farah in the 10,000m (9.15pm) and those two Long Jump fellas that always come 4th and 5th (8.00pm ish).

GB play the Aussies in Bastketball at 8.00pm, which aint my bag, but some will like it.

In the boxing, England’s Tom Stalker, is next up he will take-on India’s Kumar Manoj at 9.30pm.

In the velodrome, we've got the early rounds of the individual sprint and the omnium before the final of the women's team sprint.

In footy, Team GB take on good Korea at 7.30.

In handball, Team GB lose to Tunisia at 09.30 this morning.

The Geebee Hockey girls play China at 4pm.

At Eton Downey, the posh lot will be cheering on GB in the finals of the Women's Single Sculls (09.30), the Men's Lightweight Double Sculls (09.40), the Bird's Equivalent (10.00) and the Men's Fours at (10.30).

There's Some Sailing, and people will also be wet in the pool, where we have got a slight chance of a medal in the women's 50m dash.

The women's triathlon is at 9am, and that will also involve some swimming.

Should win a medal in all 3 Rowing finals this morning, if that's not the kiss of death.

Been very impressed with the GB Lightweight Women Double, who have gone from possible finalists to probable medallists in one regatta. Really got their racing heads on, appear utterly unflappable and execute their race plans to perfection.

'The Posh Lot?'

Wonder why my daughter - on the verge of selection for these Games - still needs the bank of Mum and Dad to enable her to go to Tesco's some weeks?

It's team pursuit not sprint in the women's cycling today and we are nailed on

Whisper it who dares but for Team GB this could be the best day at the Olympics since forever!

If that's not jinxed them, nothing will!

We've just won another Gold in the RowingGrin

Whoever laid 95 on GB in this lightweight skulls is now **** themselves Laugh
Report gresty241 August 4, 2012 12:14 PM BST
i tried to get all the top 3 money, my bet went through but missed it
Report TheVis August 4, 2012 12:14 PM BST
I had a go at some 95 but was too slow. Be interesting to see the ruling here
Report gresty241 August 4, 2012 12:15 PM BST
glad i missed it even though they might not race again
Report mafeking August 4, 2012 12:17 PM BST
think we might have won 5 golds on the first saturday in beijing. certainly should in and around that figure today

hate to admit it, but I got a bit of a kick out of the Danish comeback in the lightweight double skills - getting a bit xenophobic at Eton Dorney and in the velodrome for me - at least the rowing has a purity of competition about it, some of the track cycling events are rather contrived and manufactured.

Which is not to denigrate the British rowers and cyclists - all of whom are superb and deserve their moment in the sun for all the hard hours they put in away from the public eye.

No bets yet today but a couple with the potential to upset the established order based on this morning's evidence are Ryan Bailey (100m) and Luguelin Santos (400m)

I haven't been keeping up with Jessie. Is it correct that she only has to do well in the Javelin, later. to win Gold?

That's what they seem to say on the news.
Report Makybe_Diva August 4, 2012 1:51 PM BST
The news report was misleading.

Commentators very hopeful Jessie can win Gold. Hope they are right. Would love her to win.

I think she is about 13 seconds ahead going into the 800m
Report Makybe_Diva August 4, 2012 2:14 PM BST
Thanks.
