Less Olympic champions than mens Wimbledon winners.

Would help Muzza if it doesn't rain on Sunday and remains an outdoor final. Fed the best indoor player in the world & heavily favoured if it goes under the roof.
By:
johnny - 100% correct. That was the difference in the Wimbledon Final when the roof was closed.

One thing against Murray is the mixed doubles games tomorrow. If he loses the first it probably won't make much difference but if he had to play two matches tomorrow, that can't do him any favours.

Am I the only one that can't see any irony in this at all?

no you are not

No FatherMaguire, it's wouldn't be ironic at all

Pity Del Potro didn't come through yesterday as Murray 5 and 1 against him in the HTH and would have been pretty short priced fav for GM
By:
no it's not a pity, Murray needs the opportunity for redemption
playing Fed is perfect and the pressure is several degrees lower, if he loses then it barely matters but if he wins it's a huge bonus the downside is much less than losing the Wimbledon final so should be able to relax and play better tennis (ie not serving at 46% in the 3rd set) |
By:
The widespread misuse of the word 'ironic' is quite ironic
By:
how ironic that you misuse the word yourself when complaining about others
By:
if Fed does him AGAIN it would be sickening for Murray
...However, I actually think it's Murray's turn this time and i reckon if he plays like he did against Djoko in the semi that he will win gold here |
