Olympic ticket site

you get them for the closing ceromony....

I got my first ticket after about 100 attempts across three days last night. They must be going up on site in 5s or 10s as and when they're returned. Not easy, and very frustrating.

what did you get, me and the misses been trying for a couple of days now, trying anything and everything in the olympic park. Need 4 tickets and willing to spend £600, but cant get anything at all..... Did you get your tickets confirmed right away after clicking "request tickets"? or did you have to wait a few minutes before they were confirmed... I get the feeling that once you are on the clock waiting for the ticket confirmation, it is already to late, and you may as well go and serach for something else.. Also, what time of day did you get them?

Ampleforth , they put them up at different times all day and night . There is no rhyme or reason to their procedures.....it is farcical .

A ticket to athletics tomorrow night. It was about 9 o clock last night, I sat through about 20 minutes of spinning clock. I'm still trying to get something for tomorrow morning/afternoon as I'm going to be day tripping it down from Leeds. Good luck mate.

Oh, and the incessant being logged out of the system and that blurry word thing is a pain in the backside too

yeah I know they keep adding things, although I tried every 2 hours through the night and nothing seemed to be added after about 1.00am and then a load added sometime around 7.00am... Good to know that the spiing clock may not be a total waste of time... I ahve made mulitple accounts and have had 5 or 6 request all pending at once.... I think going for 4 tickets could be my problem, I guess they will only book 4 seats in a row in case kids are going.... still will keep trying....

just tried to get 4 tickets for athletics next wednesday......4 minute spinning clock , then not available .....lol

It is without doubt the worst site in the history of the internet.  Makes BF's site look totally bomb proof in comparison.

Longest spinning clock for us was a 14 minute one that lasted 52 minutes.

the website is ridiculas, I mean how hard can it be for them to have someone remove the events as soon as they are not available!  I have wasted at least 20 hours of my work time on this, multiply that by how many hundreds of thousands of people are doing the same and it all add up to massive drop in the UKs productivity..... absolute w4nk website

Last night was the worst yet......they released athletic tickets for every day but I couldn't even get to the spinning clock . The site just crashed....embarrassing .

total joke
spent 3 hrs last night on the spinning clock after getting excited at seeing some ahtletics tickets as well as other sports eg tennis, got absolutely nothing.
