If Ye had improved 1.5 seconds nobody would care
Report elisjohn August 1, 2012 9:58 AM BST
1.5 secs is a more dramatic improvement imo considering the ages , and dist of race
Report mafeking August 1, 2012 10:58 AM BST
it's not a question of age. people are suspicious of chinese swimmers who suddenly show massive improvement cos of their past history with drugs

What about Brits past history with drugs, Christie, Chambers, Millar....

Theres an enormous difference between a few isolated individuals committing doping offenses, and systematic doping that china have done in the past. Their team medical doctors have even admitted it was an organised scheme. So its not about whether she is 16 or that she is chinese. Its the fact she has come from a country with an appalling track record of doping across several sports including swimming.
