That was pathetic - He got the finish completely wrong - was well up entering the last 5 metres and screwed it up.

Clos finished strongly but you shouldn't ever be gliding in like that, he was half a metre ahead with 1 to go

Anyone got the 1.01 numbers for that,could have taken another stroke there surely?

Even if he ended up taking another stroke probably still had it

Doesn't take a pro-swimmer to know you don't glide in like that, you make adjustments 15m out so you finish near on a complete stroke

certainly not a 'bottler' anyway. Seems like one of the most relaxed people in Sport. Maybe a bit overconfident , or done-it-all-before attitude.

Phelps not so much of a class act when he'd just lost and barged into a women as he was leaving the arena

Why interview the GB team that were nowhere. Just soak up the achievements of Phelps FFS
