No, it was an American coach who suggested there was something 'iffy' about the Chinese girls swim
Anyway, Americans are completely impervious to any criticism at all. I am often on Huff Post arguing with them about their various hypocritical stances around the world and they pretty much always say 'as long as it's in American interests then whatever we do is ok by me' and that includes supplying weapons to despotic tyrrants, dropping bombs on civilians from drones, supporting dreadful regimes like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain while opposing other very similar countries... hypocrisy is an American condition oh and Tim Montgomery is another convicted drugs cheat |

Carl Lewis on 5 live saying USA are going to dominate the sprints and that he isn't judging Gatlin because there's others that have tested positive. This blokes epitomises the hypocrisy there is with a lot of Americans. Tested positive 3 times himself and Blake never tested positive for a listed substance

FLO-JO MARION JONES JUSTIN GATLIN LANCE ARMSTRONG THE WILLIAMS SISTERS CARL LEWIS All habitual users and abusers of performance enhancing drugs - some caught and others who have either failed and had cases covered up or basically vanish for 9 months of the year to avoid detection... SHAMEFUL AMERICAN BULLYING! you can say the same for cavendish |

you missed the point
the hypocrisy comes because a nation of proven drug cheats has thrown accusations at a young girl who has been tested regularly and never given a positive sample |

Yes well I personally suspect all the teams, especially the rich ones, of doing anything that they can get away with.
We know how fast medical science advances and I would go 1.02 that the cheats advance faster than the testers. I am convinced there are techniques, substances and other stuff (gene manipulation???) going on in sport that WADA has no idea about |

One of the greatest Olympic moments IMO was Bob Beamon's jump in Mexico in 1968. Okay it was at altitude but was totally off the scale.
Did viewers go 'WTF??' or did they just give a cynical smile? I don't for one minute accuse Beamon of being anything other than an athletic freak (in the best possible sense) but he would have been subject to a far less stringent testing regime than any athlete competing today Performances like the Chinese swimmers can happen and she is innocent until proven guilty. Until when, we should all rejoice in a brilliant 'drop my bacon sandwich' Olypic moment. |

I am skeptical of the chinese young girl only because of that fact she smashed her pb by a ridiculous ammount but I don't think it's reasonable and justified for everyone to be saying everyone is cheating simply because your nation is struggling to win a medal

Ye Shiwen is coached by Australians, and has done some training in Queensland. If she was a 15 y o lithuanian swimmer who'd trained and in England, and come from nowhere to win a gold, would Phlep's coach complain about that. Think not.
