Froome was also shot in the road race. There's obviously questions about Cancellara's fitness after his fall and similar about Tony Martin - why did he pull out on Saturday, was it simply to stay fitter for tomorrow?
I suspect patriotic money and new cycling money might push Wiggins price down though, so he might start lower than he ought to be.
