Help : can non-ticket holders walk around outside Olympic Stadium?

Just been watching BBC evening coverage, and seen lots of people walking around outside it.

Is this the arrangement until the Athletics start, or is it some sort of ticket-holders only and no more?

heard them saying last night on tv,that u need a ticket for an event and then you can stroll around wherever u want

can't get inside the park without a ticket imo

Correct Tucho. They were selling park access separately in the first week before the athletics start but they've all sold out apparently.

Thanks lads. I suspected we wouldn't get past some sort of turnstiles or security barrier into that area without a ticket.
