Should be called England, Scotland 2012...

Every other city can keep the events within the city.....London has to outsource to Glasgow ffs

If you look back at previous Games you will see that some events are spread far apart. Anyway, it's a good idea to use existing facilities elsewhere, for both practical and sustainable reasons. Why is it a shambles?

FFS, it's the greatest sporting event we'll ever see. Not surprising they were going to use Scotland and Wales. They should have used Northern Ireland too in my opinion.

Something wrong if you can't appreciate a sporting spectacle such as this. Sure, the archery, fair enough, and perhaps other minority sports and with the swimming it's only the heats, you can be sure once we have the finals each night, stadiums will be packed. For me the cycling, swimming and athletics, not interested in much else although the rowing is also worth watching.

Great crowds out on the roads this morning for the cycling.

Diamond Joe, what sporting event would surpass what we've got over the next 2 weeks? World Cup football obviously.
