Is it just a question of knowing how to put the gloves on straight?
How does this nation manage to get so many qualified, this time 11 qualifiers, joint second to the USA on 12.
Have NEVER won a boxing gold, last medal won, silver in 1988 and prior to that 2 bronze in 1960.

That will change this time around with Damien Hooper in the light heavyweight

He qualified by reaching the quarter finals of the championships in Azerbaijan.
3 of your boxers qualified by beating contestants from The Cook islands,Tonga and PNG,what is going to happen to them when they are up against Cubans,Russians,Uzbeki's,Ukranians or Thai's in their bouts?

Yes and no really, obviously I 'know' how they qualified, but why the AIBA and Aus boxing tolerate such a weak qualifying region.

I'm not sure what you want them to do? They can't move geographically

End of the day all the national olympic committees want to have the greatest representation for their athletes. If it is through Oceania for the Australians then so be it
