On until the end of the Olympics.

Can we compile a list of stringent muslims here to see who has no chance?

The Pakistan cricket team still win during ramadan. They stop during the game for prayer breaks.

There are circumatances where you can avoid or postpone fasting. Pregnancy, illness etc you dont have to fast. I think you can also buy your way out of it by making payments to charity if there is a good reason, and I'm sure the Olympics qualifies.

UAE playing Uruguay in men's football today. If they've all been fasting, they're likely to face an even bigger drubbing.

Interesting roger.  The title was a bit tongue in cheek, and since Ethiopia is a Muslim country and they always do well at long distances, and it clearly being impossible to compete at all in that sort of event if you are dehydrated, I was just a bit curious.

Who will feed these 1,800 Moroccan children once Ramadan is over.

Moroccan children are for life, not just for Ramadan!
