My dad wants to know what the odds are of him winning both. I reckon its 2.8 approx (odds of winning 100m 1.83 200m 1.55).
Am I right?

Awful odds. Not 100% fit. Blake potentially running in world record time. Can't see it.

Usain Bolt has been 5/4 with pp to win 100m and 200m for days.

not sure how you can have a bet on this race

if bolt fit he wins
if bolt is not 100% there's a possibility he doesn't win

Apparently Bolt was born with scoliosis, a curvature of the lower spine and if as reported he currently has a back injury I wouldn't bet on him.

if you could do a multi on here you would get 2.8 minus betfairs % so it seems bizarre that bolt to win both is trading at 2.3 - 2.4. Can't see why anyone would back at such poor value

Bolt's saying he's injured to take the pressure off i reckons .... i mean you wouldn't tell the press , 'yeah I'm in fine form and super fit' would Ya ??

surely they are related, so the double isnt multiplied odds

Not sure, if you bet on chelsea to win their first match and their second match is that related?

Related in a certain aspect.  Not sure why you would bet on the double instead of one then the other because you'd at least break even if he only won one.  Surely how he runs in the first will be an indicator of how he will perform in the 2nd, so yes they are related, I think the best course of action would be to lay Usain in 2nd race and hope he performs badly in the first for a pre-race trade.
