8/11 to win 100m
4/7 to win 200m

My guess would be the latter - a poor start not such a killer, chance taken out of the equation more. Thoughts?

Depends on the lane draw - any of the first 3 in the 200m he is toast this year - too tall and not in great form

How about 10/11 100m & 8/13 200m?

Tread carefully unless you have an inside track on his injury status.

Wins his semi and it's unlikely he will be.

You only have to look at the recent performances of Christine Ohurugu and Perri Shakes Drayton to realise that with athletes their performances can improve dramatically over a short period of time.  I'd expect a similar scenario with Usain Bolt.  Blake will have improvement too tbh

When Blake won the Jamaican 200m trials, it was after a poor start. He effectively ran the fastest 199m of all time. Furthermore, only Lewis has retained the 100m and that wasn't on the track.
I'd be interested in a price for Bolt to not win either event and am considering place laying him in the 100m, as I'm not convinced that he is 100% and the added pressure of genuine challengers could easily get him twitching in the blocks again.

This.

all depends on what shape Bolt is in, his coach was implying on the documentary on bbc3 that Bolt was undercooked due to travelling to Europe whilst Blake was fully charged because he had stopped at home

people thinking Bolt is just going to hand over his titles are suffering from wishful thinking as he has a 0.2 second advantage at 100m and 0.4 secs at 200m... and he is planning to run fast for sure

gonna be fascinating

Blake has ran 19.26 to Bolts 19.19. I'd go for blake for the 200m at the odds.
