Its always suffered a bit in Britain because top GB athletes (by this mean athletics not other sports) have tended to swerve the games and these are the big profile names with the British public. This is partly because of the European Athletics Championships being in the same year and which is given greater importance. It's suffered more this year because of the time of year. Top athletes especially the Jamaicans are in hibernation in a bid for next years' WCs.
Its bigger Down Under which was emphasized by the fact that all the Australian bookies were betting on it whereas the majority of UK bookies weren't. Well Done Skyebet though who did more than anyone and produced their own prices unlike PiddyPower who just copied Sportsbet Australia. They probably took next to nothing but it will help them when it comes down to the Olympics. |

Mebbe they do. That would explain a lot tbh. They both cut prices without taking a bet. So far the only firms that have stooped low enough to do so.
