Safari Rachid has a PB and SB of 2hrs 2minutes according to the official entry list.  Not bad by anyone's standards considering if it were true it would mean the 37 year old had smashed the World Record in the twilight of his career.  It might however explain why he is 2/9 and 1/6 in a couple of places indeed the only places bar here with any betting on it.

The truth however is nowhere nr as good.  His career highlights appear to be 12th place in the 10,000m at the 2003 Catania World Military Games and 20th place in the Algiers All African Games of 2007.

7,221 matched on this race.  Amazing in the context of the betting on the CG and marathon betting in general

I think its probably between Nyonmi Disi and Kelai.  None of the field are WR top 100.  The classiest runner at his best is definitely Disi but hes mainly a road runner and half marathon performer.
