the cheering you hear at events---is TAPED

They are having to ship kids in to the swimming events to fill up the arena because of the small crowds, that might change tho as the Indians have won a bronze (50m S9 Paras).

ap6 - suggest you watch the mens 100 metres then it'll take em 59.9 seconds to get to the finishing line after climbing through all the rubble!

There are lots of people behind the 100m start line so some of the noise is true. Seems starnge that they built such a large stadium when they clearly can't fill it. I know a lot of the big names haven't showed up but apparently in India even India Test cricket matches have empty stadiums mso seems optimistic to think they could fill this.

Compare this to the Melborne and Manchester games.
