I've always had a sweet tooth and continue to enjoy both of these unhealthy sweets. Blush
However, my slight preference would be for midget gems, they are typically harder than wine gums.

Wine gums best, saves having to locate and spit out the awfully incongruous liquorice thing if you put a few in. Without that I would choose Midget Gems.
How are they getting away with 'Midget' these days?

Fruit Salad Gums make it a gelatine trifecta but steer clear of supermarkets own brand of any of that trifecta.

Have to agree the "American Hard Gums" streets ahead. Doubting many of the chit chatters would still be in possession of their own gnashers..  Blush

No contest....Midget Gems all the way, but must be the hard ones!

Back in the day, when the office junior came round for mid morning orders, my standing order was "a  quarter of Midget Gems and something for yourself"....

Don't know what make they were as they were loose, but very hard.

Don't know what reminded me of this last year, but subsequently  I had eight x 2kg boxes delivered, and ultimately, consumed between 25th October '19 and 4th March '20.
