Guy who urinated on Palmer memorial yesterday hands himself in

According to Wikipedia he has another memorial. A very small plaque under some bushes. Not a great tribute.

Was it doridou or woundedknee?

Without doubt wrong but to me it looked like he was pissing in the corner by the railings, not all over it, so might just have been desperate. Fair play for putting his hands up. Should be fined at worst imo and hopefully lesson learned.

I must say I'm rather surprised by N-eC's comment there.  I had you down as a rational chap, N-eC.

I like to think im rational and weigh each sitution up without political bias, but look you can't go on a protest to save statues, history etc and then piss on a memorial to a policeman cut down doing his job. Others have been jailed for urinating/defacing remembrance monuments.

The remarkable thing about the picture, considering how much he'd probably consumed, was that he was actually taking care not to pee on the memorial!

If only he hadn't been such an idle lard-arse, he could have taken just one further step to his right and avoided any bother altogether.

Having seen the picture what he did wasn't as bad as is made out,he pi$$ed at the side of the statue whilst shielding his helmet from public gaze very sensible.

from what i have seen over last 7 days there has been very worrying scenes.the biggest worry though is the reporting.from whichever side you look from you could say it has been biased. this has inflamed the situation even more and this is what should be investigated and stopped.if these reports werent fanning the flames,folk wouldnt be up in arms at each other either on the streets or on here.

That is something that can be debated.

Do you think we should have statues of James II (the founder of the RAC) what had DY (for Duke of York) branded on the slaves? What about Charles II who was also involved in its set up? Again can be debated.

Bristol has had a black Mayor for four years and a Labour Council. If they wanted to peacefully removed a statue then they could have.

If Britain does not want these statues up lets remove them democratically not by a mob of agitators that are trying to cause division in our society.

We are talking about the effect of the last a couple weeks where thugs have ripped down statues, thugs have fought the police, thugs have defaced Churchill.
