People make out that judgement of history can’t be made in modern times.
Well what did Churchill’s contemporaries think of him?
The first chance the people who lived and fought in the war had to actually vote on him (since he was an unelected PM during the war) they trounced him with an Attlee landslide, just a couple of months after he supposedly ‘won’ it.
