80s will always be my favourite cos that when I really got into music.
But quality wise, 70s was better. Still not as good as the 60s tho. That time was in a league of its own.

Now there is nothing new to be done, all the OAP`s are out touring from the 80`s topping their pension funds up, regurgitating commercial tripe from the 80`s.

I think I could probably get by easily stuck on a desert island with only music from 74-84. Pretty much THE classic rock era for so many of the bands. Bands now are going back to that era for inspiration. Disco(!). Funk. Early 80s pop music, your alternative stuff like New Order. First Iron Maiden albums and NWOBHM. Even Madonna's good stuff was then. What's not to like?
