recently bought 20 razor blades in a pack for 1.99 in b&m, works out nearly 10 pence  each, worse shave I've ever had, felt like Edward Scissorhands's was let loose on my face, 3 blade razors but quality still so poor, I guess you get what you pay for, have to throw the other 19 away. Don't know why it's so difficult to for manufactures to produce fairly cheap but good  quality cutting blades in this day and age. Moral of the story if you buy a 10 pence razor blade expect a 10 pence shave.

will try wilkenson safety razor next time, used gillete 5 blade all the time thought I was paying for the label type thing, wonder if harrys are any good, they definitely market them hard. forgot to mention these cheapo blades also have short handles, useless.

They are all crap. Takes a whole pack of them throwaways for one shave.

Mine is the Merkur Vision. Top notch safety razor. But if your new to using a safety razor, take it slowly.

+1 for a Merkur razor. this, a shaving brush, shaving soap and some gillette or feather blades - bin the plastic rubbish and you'll never look back
