Hop it, chum!

From 11am on Radio Four this morning - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000jmmc

"Away from the Corona crisis headlines, talks to establish a new relationship between Britain and the EU seem to be going from bad to worse, and June is shaping up to be a critical month. The BBC’s Europe Editor Katya Adler examines why the two sides now appear to misunderstand and mistrust each other so deeply, and what the consequences could be if no agreement on trade can be reached."

They're the perfect age. Weren't born in the one they go on about endlessly, too old for the next one. Will be at the front of the line calling everyone cowards and unpatriotic though.

just to be balanced & offer an alternate view to Mr Trilbys links above; here's a likkle piece from Mujtaba Rahman who is the MD for Europe @ Eurasia Group:

Finally, the survival of Dominic Cummings, Johnson’s closest adviser, despite allegations he broke the lockdown rules, also enhances the prospect of no deal. One reason why Brexiteer ministers and aides rallied behind him is that he sees it as his personal mission to prevent Johnson extending the transition period in June, and delivering a version of Brexit that lets the UK “take back control”. It would be wrong to underestimate his impact on the outcome of these negotiations.
